Course Description


This course covers all aspects of using HP ALM 12 to manage testing projects from developing your requirements and planning your software releases, through to writing test scripts, executing them and raising and managing defects. Features such as Sprinter, Business Models and Project Reports are explained in depth as well as the new Web Client interface, how the traceability model works and reporting facilities. Throughout the course practical examples are demonstrated, and the delegates get to practice what they have learned in each chapter with ALM.

The ALM 12 course is priced at £1200 per delegate excluding VAT. This price includes all course materials, lunch and refreshments. Courses can also be arranged on-site at your office for bookings with multiple delegates. Please contact us for more details.

Who Should Attend
This course is recommended for anyone new to ALM, or for those upgrading from previous versions of TestDirector or Quality Center. There are no prerequisites for course entry.

Upon completion of the course, candidates should be able to:

  • Understand how to extract reports and metrics from ALM
  • Understand how to use version control features to safeguard your test assets
  • By the end of the course you should have a complete understanding of all the modules within ALM and how it should be used to manage testing projects from start to finish
