The ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Software Test Management is a four day course, aimed at test managers, lead test analysts and testers who wish to progress their career into Test Management. Pre-requisites are the ISEB Foundation and Intermediate Certificates in Software Testing. It is also recommended that candidates have a minimum of 18 months of experience in software testing. Our trainers are experienced testing practitioners with many years of software testing experience to relate to candidates to enhance the learning process. This tutor led course is carried out over four days at locations UK wide and the price includes the ISEB examination fee, lunches and all course materials. All the above topics have a test management bias, the longest module of the course is Test Management Practice. The Exam The examination is a written paper, carried out once every quarter by ISEB - via e-testing. It is a 2 hour paper based on a choice of 4 questions out of 6. The pass mark is 60% and a distinction can be obtained by getting 80% or more. Successful completion of the exam leads to the award of the ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Software Test Management by the British Computer Society. Exam Dates Although the exams are taken on e-testing's premises, after an optional revision day, the exams are subject to fixed dates defined by ISEB.
