Automation Test Analyst
Experienced test consultant required to join e-testing. Work will be mainly assignment based, providing test consultancy services to a range of existing and future clients of e-testing, specialising in HP Quick Test Professional. You will have solid experience of QTP, including the ability to code in VB script, using the expert view and writing scripts from scratch directly in code. Must have experience designing frameworks and re-usable functions within QTP to deliver robust data driven automated solutions to clients so that less technical users can run tests and monitor results.
Must be client facing with excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of producing clear and consise reports, status updates and automation handover documents when required, as well as the usual testing related documentation.
Requirements
At least 2 years testing experience required including technical hands on work should include production of test plans, test scripts and test execution in different environments
Experience working with financial applications / industry
Expert user of HP Quality Centre
A good understanding of the software development lifecycle development and testing and experience of working on projects
Experience of working in a variety of different technical environments, including Oracle, SQL server, Java and web based applications
A high degree of literacy and the ability to write solid, accurate reports in quick time including test plans, scripts and reports
Wide range of technical skills experience of a diverse range of environments / development languages and databases would be beneficial
Experience of using other HP & Microfocus Tools also beneficial

Skills
ISEB / ISTQB Foundation Certificate
Solid automated tools expertise including HP Quality Centre as a minimum
Should be highly motivated and proactive
Should be able to grasp concepts quickly and appreciate implications of decisions
Able to work well autonomously, with a focus on delivery
Eagerness to learn and an aptitude for picking things up quickly
