Job Description

Test Analyst required for city based financial for 6 months business as usual testing. Reporting to the Test Team Leader, you must have proven previous experience of working in an Agile delivery development environment.

Principal Candidate Requirements:

Strong understanding of FX data flow from feed data to trade and out to settlement
An understanding of FX cash
Experience of Pricing Engines
Strong analyst skills, must be able to review requirements to generate UNIT level test scripts in conjunction with development teams
Must be able to work independent while providing quality progress updates
Good understanding of data communication protocol eg: FIX
Must be able to communicate directly with vendor development teams at a peer level
Ideally would have worked on a similar deliverable previously
Exposure to RET, Summit, FIX useful
Expert user of HP Quality Centre – all functions
Exposure to FITnesse tool useful
Good understanding of automated testing/execution required wrt continuous integration and regression
Greenfield project, completely new trading interface being developed
ISEB Foundation or equivalent required
