Job Description
  • Senior Telcommunications Test Engineer required for our Hertfordshrie based telecommunications client, to provide technical lead on Integration & Validation (I&V) activities for the introduction of new Data Charging Services and Solutions project within leading telecoms provider.

    - Detailed knowledge of mobile data infrastructure is required, for user authentication/authorisation, optimisation of traffic for fixed & mobile environments, common data charging, user and session data as well as basic IP transport and traffic management.
    - A good understanding of Policy and Charging Rule Function (PCRF) standards would be an advantage.
    - You will have excellent communication skills and be willing to travel to Germany (Bonn) to liaise with colleagues in other offices. No knowledge of German is required.

    Responsibilities
    - Execution of all Test and Integration activities (from design stage to first site implementation) of new solutions to agreed schedules and in accordance with Company procedures and standards.
    - Managing Suppliers (both internal and external) through delivery meetings and subgroups.
    - Compiling and agreeing detailed test plans and test scripts with other departments and third party suppliers (where applicable).
    - Co-ordination of test activities with other departments.
    - Specification and Management of both internal and external test resources.
    - Supporting and progressing of problems identified during testing with internal users and third party suppliers to a timely and satisfactory resolution.
